All children should have the opportunity to reach their full potential at school, regardless of their financial standing.
At BANSIC, we are committed to helping families afford the ever-increasing costs of primary and secondary education. BANSIC offers a Back to School program where eligible families can access financial assistance to help cover school costs, such as school books and uniform items.
The assistance available is $150 maximum for each child, up to a maximum of $500 per family.
You must book an appointment at BANSIC to apply for Back to School financial assistance.
To be eligible to receive Back to School financial assistance from BANSIC:
- You have to reside in postcodes 3079, 3081, 3084, and 3085 – and must have a Centrelink card verifying that address.
- The child/children receiving support must be listed on the Centrelink card.
- The child must be attending a government primary or secondary school.
- You must bring your child’s school booklist or uniform list to the appointment.
